Foreign Drafts
Sending Bank Drafts in Foreign Currency
An efficient way to pay your trade partners or send money to an overseas office is via a foreign draft. A foreign draft is similar to a cashier's check, but can be paid in the currency of the country where the payee resides. A foreign draft is a fast, secure, and traceable way to send money. And it's a low-cost alternative to money orders or wire transfers. American Savings Bank accepts requests for foreign drafts from American Savings Bank customers only and offers competitive exchange rates for foreign currency bank drafts.
