Wednesday, April 9, 2008 – American Savings Bank today announced the launch of its “ASB Free Checking,” the most comprehensive checking account service available in Hawaii. ASB Free Checking is the only checking account in the state offering free ID theft protection, free check card with travel awards, free online bill pay, free first set of checks and no minimum opening balance.
Wednesday, January 30, 2008 – American Savings Bank announces the promotions of Gabe Lee to Executive Vice President, Commercial Markets and Natalie Taniguchi to Executive Vice President, Enterprise Management. Rick Robel has also joined the company as Executive Vice President, Operations and Technology.
Tuesday, January 22, 2008 – American Savings Bank announces the promotion of Timothy Schools to President, effective February 1, 2008. Schools currently serves as Senior Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer, a position he was named to in July 2007.
