Careers in Banking
Teaching Students the importance of Financial Literacy
Launched in 2005, our Careers in Banking program is designed to teach students the importance of financial literacy. American Savings Bank employees visit classrooms of local schools to share information on money management. Presentations are tailored to fit various age levels and audiences. We also offer branch and banking department tours to give students a first-hand, behind-the-scenes look into the different operations within a bank — from our bank tellers to our administration.
Over 500 students have attended a presentation annually since the program’s inception.
