Ways to Work Names American Savings Bank National Lender of the Year

The Ways to Work program provides loans that help qualifying parents on Oahu keep their jobs, get better jobs or stay in school. Ranging from $500 to $4,000, the loans may be used to purchase a used car, pay for car repairs, or cover child care or other expenses.

“We support the Ways to Work program because it reflects our core values of getting involved and finding ways as a financial institution to help our communities,” says Constance Lau, president and CEO of American Savings Bank.

American Savings Bank was cited for the award because of its community focus and the service we provide, as well as helping to build awareness of the program. No other bank in Hawaii offers the Ways to Work loan program.
