Our People
Terence Yeh joined the bank as Vice President, Corporate Banking Officer in 1998. In this role, he serviced a growing portfolio of corporate clients and facilitated the overall growth of the Corporate and Business Banking departments following American Savings Bank's acquisition of Bank of America Hawaii in 1997. As of February 2009, Terence was named Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer. He manages the bank's Commercial, Mortgage and Consumer Credit Policy & Administration, and the Credit Review, Special Assets/Collections and Appraisal Departments. Prior to joining American Savings Bank, Terence worked at Bank of Hawaii for ten years in various capacities including Senior Business Banking Officer and Corporate Banking Associate. He received a B.S. in Finance from the University of California at Berkeley, where he received the prestigious Claudius N. White Finance award. Terence is also a 2003 graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School and was selected as one of the Pacific Business News Forty Under Forty young leaders in 2004. He has been a member of the Rotary Club of East Honolulu since 1997.
