Ray Skinner
Executive Vice President, Consumer Banking

Ray Skinner joined American Savings Bank in 2008 as Executive Vice President of Consumer Banking.

Ray oversees the bank’s Consumer Banking Operations which include Retail Banking, Mortgage Banking, the Financial Services Group, and Consumer Marketing & Product Development.

Prior to joining American Savings Bank, Ray worked at SunTrust, a $179 billion financial services holding company, and its predecessor National Commerce Financial. He began his career at the branch level and held a variety of positions including Branch Manager, Retail Group Manager, Director of Consumer Lending, and Director of Customer Experience. Ray headed SunTrust’s international retail consulting subsidiary-NCBS, Inc. He currently serves on the Board of Regents of the Barret School of Banking and as a Trustee of Mid-America Seminary.

Ray received his Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from the University of Mississippi and is a graduate of the Barret School of Banking at Christian Brothers University in Memphis.
