Timothy Schools
President

Tim Schools was promoted to President from Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer in January 2008. He is responsible for overseeing all operations of the bank and developing the company's strategic plan. Prior to joining American Savings Bank in July 2007, Tim worked for The South Financial Group in Greenville, South Carolina where he most recently served as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer.

Schools' experience also includes serving as Senior Vice President, Strategic Planning and Investor Relations with National Commerce Financial in Memphis, Tennessee and Vice President, Investor Relations with SouthTrust in Birmingham, Alabama. He previously held positions within the energy industry at Sonat in Birmingham, Alabama and Price Waterhouse in Dallas and Houston, Texas.

Tim is a member of the tenth class of the Pacific Century Fellows program and serves as a Board Member of Child and Family Services, Hawaii's oldest and largest private nonprofit human services organization.

He earned a Master's in Business Administration from Emory University and graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Information and Decision Science from James Madison University.
