Marlene Lum
Senior Vice President, Mortgage Banking

Marlene Lum is Senior Vice President, Mortgage Banking at American Savings Bank.

Marlene is responsible for directing the activities and operations of loan servicing, collection and recovery, mortgage banking technology, card management, consumer loan sales and residential loan (sales, origination, and product development).

Marlene joined American Savings Bank in October 1973 as a teller. In 1977 she was promoted to branch manager where she managed the Kailua, Hawaii Kai, and Kahala branches for five years. In 1982 she was promoted to business development manager, and in 1986 became a vice president and residential loan manager. In December 1996 she was promoted to regional vice president.

She is a graduate of the Kamehameha Schools and completed the Hawaii Management Program at the University of Hawaii.
