Helping Our Community
At American Savings Bank, we’re dedicated to helping everyone in the communities we serve. People with disabilities sometimes need extra help, so we’ve established a special loan program, called the Hawaii Assistive Technology program, to assist people with disabilities to acquire technological devices and services that enhance independence in the community. The other loan program, Ways to Work, provides working, low-income families with low-cost loans to assist with childcare or to purchase or repair automobiles.

As a resident of Hawaii, you may qualify for this low interest loan to help pay for technological devices and services. Through the HAT Program, many people with disabilities have seen their lives enhanced and their independence gained. More
