Program Details:

ASB's 2018 paid Summer Internship Program runs from June 5 through July 28 and will provide you the opportunity to develop critical skills in project and time management, leadership, and effective communication. As a member of our high-performing team, you will cultivate meaningful relationships and develop strong interpersonal and business skills needed to launch a successful career. Students in this program must be able to commit to a full-time (30-40 hours/week) schedule. There may be an opportunity to extend to part-time or full-time employment based on performance. Primary Job Responsibilities:
  • Work with ASB mentors to develop and execute a project plan that you will manage for the duration of your internship.
  • Work with department leaders to identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to complete assignments and keep tasks on schedule.
  • Develop end-user training materials and facilitate the adoption of new business processes.
  • Assist with communication projects, corporate events and training, and community activities.
  • Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned
 
Eligibility Requirements:
  • Applicants enrolled in or recently completed an undergraduate program or currently enrolled in or recently completed a graduate program.
  • Previous experience in a help desk role or similiar.
  • Demonstrated leadership in a school or community organization.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proactive team player who can thrive in a dynamic and changing environment.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Ability to interact with employees at all levels.
