American Savings Bank unveils new Hokulei Village branch on Kaua‘i

HONOLULU, HAWAII, May 27, 2016—American Savings Bank (ASB) relocated their Kukui Grove Shopping Center Branch to Hokulei Village and renamed it the Hokulei Village Branch. The new branch in Lihue, Kaua‘i opened for business on May 23. The ASB branch joins other tenants at the Hokulei Village Shopping Center, including Safeway and Jack in the Box restaurant. The opening caps ten months of construction.

The public was invited to the grand opening ceremony on Friday, May 27 at 8:45am. Food, beverages and entertainment were provided.

“For more than 40 years ASB has been supporting the dreams of the businesses and residents of Kaua‘i by offering a full range of services, including checking and savings accounts, loans, investment and residential mortgage products. We are committed to the continued growth on Kaua‘i, and our convenient hours and locations help make banking easy for our customers,” said Richard Wacker, President and CEO, American Savings Bank.

The new Hokulei Village Branch includes mortgage loan officers, safe deposit boxes, a drive-up teller and an ATM machine.

Guests for the branch blessing ceremony included members from ASB’s executive team, as well as other leaders in business, politics and the community. As part of the ceremony ASB presented a donation to Junior Achievement of Kaua‘i.
