American Savings Bank Welcomes Residential Loan Experts

HONOLULU, April 26, 2017 – American Savings Bank (ASB) is deepening its residential loan expertise with three new additions to the ASB team. Alan Miyasaki, Ann Sakamoto and Ron Li join ASB’s team, bringing over eight decades of collective experience in the banking industry.  

Alan Miyasaki, vice president and loan center manager, is a Maui native with more than 34 years of banking experience in Hawai‘i. Miyasaki has held management positions in retail branch operations and mortgage lending and will focus his expertise on the East O‘ahu market. Miyasaki is as an affiliate member of the Honolulu Board of Realtors and the Kahala Business Association.

Ann Sakamoto, assistant vice president, residential loan team leader and senior residential loan officer joins ASB with more than 15 years of experience in the local financial industry. Sakamoto’s experience in mortgage, private banking and business banking adds tremendous value to the ASB team on Maui.

Ron Li, senior residential loan officer, brings nearly 40 years of lending experience to ASB. A veteran of the U.S. Army, Li has a passion for helping active duty military and military veterans finance the homes of their dreams through the VA lending process.
