It is a credit card that requires a security deposit which is held as collateral for your account. Request your own credit limit by providing a single deposit between $300 and $5,000 (multiples of $50) when you apply, subject to credit approval.
A cardholder's credit limit is dependent on how the cardholder meets our credit criteria. If a cardholder has questions with the assigned credit limit they should contact Consumer Card Customer Care at (888) 295-5540 or Commercial Card Cardholder Support at (800) 819-4249.
If you lose your card, contact us immediately at (800) 444-6938. We'll block your account and issue you a replacement card. In an emergency situation, such as when you're traveling, we'll send you a temporary replacement card. If you have any further questions, please contact our Credit Card Customer Service at (888) 295-5540.

Steven Nakahara is Executive Vice President, Chief Credit Officer. He oversees ASB’s commercial and retail credit approval and collections, appraisal services, policies, procedures, and credit administrative processes. His teams support lending objectives and ensure the quality of the bank’s loan portfolio.
Steven has more than 25 years of banking experience. Over his career, Nakahara has served in senior management at several of Hawaii’s financial institutions. Nakahara’s extensive experience includes managing commercial underwriting and loan approval functions, improving processes and technology, and building high value business client relationships.
He serves as a board member and finance committee chair at HiCentral MLS, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Honolulu Board of REALTORS® and an ex-officio director at Oahu Country Club.
Steven received a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and graduated with honors from the Pacific Coast Banking School.

Lucy is a great example of this philosophy: she began at ASB in 2004 in Cash Management; in 2008 she moved to Human Resources; and in 2015, she joined the Commercial Banking team. Lucy was born in Hawaii and raised in Ewa Plantation – Tenney Village, a historic neighborhood of Oahu that maintained sugar production and operation for 110 years. She holds a BSBA degree in Business Administration from Hawaii Pacific University. She is a landscape and nature photographer who has had her work featured in the ASB Brand Icon, a fixture that is prominently displayed at every branch, as well as the ASB annual calendar that is distributed to customers.
