ASB's key community programs
Seeds of Service is our teammate volunteer program which encourages support of community service projects at the bank-wide, branch and department level to benefit schools and other non-profit organizations in neighborhoods on each island.
The Kahiau Giving Campaign is our annual teammate giving program which raises funds to support select Hawaii non-profits. Kahiau in Hawaiian means, "to give from the heart without expecting anything in return," and embodies the selfless generosity of our teammates.
Bank for Education is our partnership with specific local schools to provide support through grant awards, financial literacy education and volunteer projects.
Hawaii Curling Club Fundraiser - Not just another chicken dinner, the Hawaii Curling Club fundraiser is our signature event that raises money for a local non-profit community partner. This unique annual event affords participants the opportunity to experience the sport of curling alongside Olympic athletes.
Community Reinvestment Act fulfillment ensures that all members of the community, including low and moderate income neighborhoods, have fair access to financial resources.
