ASB September 16, 2026 | 1 MIN read PersonalAmerican Savings Bank (ASB) marks a new chapter in its more than 100-year history as a publicly traded company listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol ASBH.
The milestone builds on more than a century of serving Hawaii’s residents, businesses, and communities. For generations, customers have trusted ASB to help manage their finances, grow their businesses, purchase homes, save for their children’s education, and plan for retirement.
“While we are honored to commemorate this significant milestone, we are proud to celebrate the relationships and people who helped get us here,” said Ann Teranishi, president and CEO of American Savings Bank. “For more than 101 years, our customers have placed their trust in us, allowing ASB to grow while remaining deeply rooted in Hawaii.”
Becoming a publicly traded company represents a new chapter for ASB, but not a change in its commitment to Hawaii.
“Our commitment to serving our customers, supporting local businesses, and strengthening the communities we call home remains at the heart of everything we do,” said Ann.
Mahalo to our customers, teammates, and community partners who have been part of ASB’s journey for more than a century. We look forward to this next chapter together.
