How the rankings were determined by Forbes

Forbes partnered with a market research firm to evaluate banks through an independent survey of approximately 26,000 U.S. residents. Participants rated their primary financial institution across key categories, including:

• Customer service
• Financial advice
• Terms and conditions
• Digital services
• Branch services
• Overall satisfaction
• Likelihood to recommend

Survey responses accounted for 80% of each bank’s score, while public online reviews made up the remaining 20%.
