No, as an existing credit card holder with an account in good standing, you do not have to do anything! You will automatically receive your new credit card in the mail between October 20, 2021 and October 31, 2021. Your credit line, balances and any accumulated rewards points will roll over to your new credit card. We don’t recommend applying for a new card as it will result in a better experience overall to wait for your new card in the mail. Here are some things to consider if you apply for a new card:
We will need to pull your credit score in order to complete the application
There is a potential that your application could be declined
If approved, you could have two of the same credit cards after your existing account converts
If approved, line assignments and APR’s may be different than your existing card
Be on the lookout for your new ASB credit card which should arrive in the mail between October 20, 2021 and October 31, 2021. Once you receive it you may activate and begin using it right away. Be sure to destroy your old card.
If you have not received your new card by October 31, 2021, please contact Elan Cardmember Services at (800) 558-3424 [business cardmembers can call (866) 552-8855] to request a replacement card.
