We reserve the right to close an account that has a zero balance for 30 or more consecutive calendar days. An internet-enabled device is required to access Online Banking; enrollment required. Downloading the ASB Hawaii Mobile App is required for Mobile Check Deposit. Standard messaging and data usage fees apply; contact your mobile carrier for details. Subject to applicable laws. Products, features, terms, and conditions may change.
    $15 monthly service fee can be waived with $2,500 in direct deposits; or 10 point-of-sale debit card transactions per statement period; or combined personal monthly average deposit balance and outstanding loan balance of $10,000 or more. Eligible debit card transactions to waive the monthly service fee are in-store point-of-sale or online purchases made with your ASB Visa® Debit Card. Money transfers, ATM transactions, peer-to-peer transfers, micro-deposit, and check payments do not qualify. Valid purchases must post and settle to the checking account associated with the debit card within the statement cycle. American Savings Bank has the sole discretion to determine a qualifying debit card transaction. Merchants solely control when they post transactions, which may be on a date after the transaction itself. Deposit balances include checking, savings, money market, CD, and bank IRA balances. Loan balances include HELOCs and other consumer loans and lines of credit, except residential mortgage and credit card balances. APY 0.00% as of March 1, 2026. Fees could reduce the earnings on the account.
  3. If you use an ATM that is not owned or operated by ASB within the United States, we will refund up to $10 per statement period in ATM withdrawal fees charged by either ASB or the other bank or ATM operator.
